TiO₂

These samples of anatase are displayed in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Anatase is an oxide mineral of titanium with the composition TiO₂ . It is one of the five forms of titanium dioxide found in nature according to Mindat. This sample is about 3x1.5 cm and is from Brazil.

This sample of anatase is from Alp Lercheltini, Binnatal, Valais, Switz. The sample is about 7x7 cm.
